So, the reasonable person like you who only wants to bang educated intelligent women that " he would want to raise a child with" would choose to sharpen his skills and become an expert in picking up those types of women,

Maybe if he didn't have 300,000 posts on a message board, he could afford the time to develop something/get rich, and hone his skills meeting women

The probability of you creating something worth $5Billon dollars is astronomically small.

it's just an example. it was an extreme one so that there wouldn't be a subjective valuation

we'd all give up a year or 2 of sex for $5B. i picked an insane number so eliminate a parsing of the variable i introduced (money)

Blind tasting and no cost involved. You really aren't seeing the picture. Where have you seen a blind tasting involving the participants paying for what they taste?

for the record, this is not necessarily true

i know plenty of absolute pieces of shite. they were pieces of shite as kids, too.

i doubt i'd raise a piece of shite, but it happens

nobody thinks their kid is not smart. well that's statistically impossible. half the kids will be below-median intelligence

I still see no mention of psychology. Have you studied the psychological effect? Is it known?

Blind tasting and no cost involved.

this isn't a tasting and the next step was to introduce cost

but first we had to establish that perceived value changes from person to person. there is no absolute

i never discussed a blind tasting. you keep trying to include it, regardless

the #1 peacocking variable in life is power. then money. most of us aren't going to be gangsters or authoritarian dicators, so we can start with money

Power does not manifest itself only in gangsters and authoritarian dictators. The ability to command a room without effort and the ability to go into any conversation cold and end with every person hanging on your words is a tremendous amount of power it it takes practice.

he created the subjective valuation that "confidence is the goal" and ran with it.

No. You said you dont bang women because you are only interested in intellgent breeding stock women and that the resources needed to bang women are not worth it. It is a better use of your time to jack off. That was the original premise of your argument. I did not invent it, and confidence is well proven to be the best way to pick up women.

quote:

i just pointed out that there are more efficient uses of resources for many people that will net you a better haul

but if we go about this in hive-mind and assume confidence is the only way to achieve the goal

Name something else that will get you what you want. How many intelligent women with great genes do you know who are married to scared little pussies that beat off all the time.

I read the first page and the last page of this thread and it's clear that SFP is not as intelligent as he thinks he is.

I would absolutely give up 2 years of sex for 5 billion dollars. I would not give up 2 years of sex in exchange for me sitting in a room and trying to develop and test and market an idea which i have to come up with on my own that will maybe one day be worth 5 billion dollars

Ah. Power is more easily attained or what's the word for making someone perceive something? Than you have just made it out to be

Let's go with this definition
quote:

2. the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events

You can have power just by being confident

You're implying that the not as smart SFPjr will be a TPOS bc he's not as smart? What if he's funnier, has a more caring heart for people, and other redeeming personality traits? What if dumb dumb makes you laugh and appreciate his love for life despite not being the valedictorian?

I know you hate losing an argument, but be consistent. You won't admit to an inconsistency, but it is plain to see.

SFP, suppose you have 2 kids.

The first has your IQ. However, as he grows up, you realize he is a total piece of shite. He thinks he's better than everyone else, and treats everyone else like they are beneath him. He's mostly hated by his peers. He's completely socially inept.

Your second child is slightly below-median intelligence. But he's a wonderful kid, very loving, puts others before himself, and excels at what he does because he works harder than most people do to compensate.

Which one do you think would be easier for you to co-exist with and parent?
