I want a set of Le Creuset pots but the lady is looking at all clad copper set.

If price was not an issue which one would you go with? Whichever set we go with will be the only one we purchase for at least a decade. I had no idea how expensive decent cookware cost.

All Clad-Copper Core for the win.

Stainless on the outside, copper on the inside. Amazingly easy to clean.

How does the copper hold up overtime?

all clad copper

This. But you'll still need an enameled cast iron pot for oven braising/slow roasting

Subtle brag

Winco FTW. That's what the pros use, it doesn't look all pretty but they're solid and you can get six for the same amount that you'd pay for one all clad or Le Creuset.

If you just want something that looks pretty (and that you have to work hard to keep pretty) then go ahead, but do your real cooking with Winco hardware.

We have All clad Copper core set but still have a Cruset 7qt or so for braising, chill and soups. Copper core cleans easy but get some bartenders keeper makes it shine.

Don't spend that kind of money on cookware unless you get to show it off. Get you one of these and a nice copper set.

Then why do professional chefs use All Clad instead of Le Creuset?
