I've found Lowes/Home Depot have great deals on christmas lights & tools for black friday and i never have problems with the crowds.

any other 'hidden' BF stores you've been to?

Is it bad that I cringe when I see you have started a thread?

Last and only time I participated in Black Friday was the year the Furby's came out. My Mom and I were like the 8th people in line to get them. (1998)

I got a knockoff magic bullet blender at JCPenny's like 5 years ago for $8. Strolled in about 10AM after being forced to go out with my mother. Still works great today.

I never see any deals that save me enough money to justify fighting those crowds and being out that early (or late, since things now start Thanksgiving night). I stick to online shopping, I save money and time. Well worth it.

you missed the part where i said the nice thing about lowes & home depot is they really dont have lines but have some great prices.

anyway, i forgot the OT doesn't do black friday

eta i'm stringing up the double-wide with C9s and wanted to save 2 cents on the packages since i need at least 2 boxes worth to make it all the way around.

Do you not internet Black Friday yo?

Seriously, just roll out of bed in the ol' PJs and get the deals online. Amazon Prime is my bestie come Christmas shopping time.

i actually enjoy the 'hustle and bustle' of a cold friday with a starbucks and hitting a couple 'non popular' stores like sears and home depot for deals.

i'm always surprised by things i find there but of course, the OTers are too busy having their OT10 SOs give them pedicures while jetting across the ocean in their private lear jets to be bothered with the unclean black friday masses.

It's usually a madhouse here with people that begin camping out Thanksgiving night. Even at the smaller big box stores.

No thank you.
