Does anyone know if in the state of Louisiana if there is a 72 hour recession period on a commercial property deal?

I've never heard of it, but I'm also pretty terrible at my job.

Read the purchase agreement.

Here is my (non) legal advice: if there is anything significant involved with a question like this, "free" advice on a forum such as this is worth less than what you pay for it. If a significant transaction may or may not be subject to such a period and you have a question (and are seriously considering availing yourself of it), I advise you to seek - in person - competent legal advice as quickly as possible.

Can you give more details?

Sounds like the span of an Obama recession according to Obama.

With regard to property, the 3-day right of rescission as allowed under Federal law may only apply to refinancing of property I believe...

If you reserved the right of reversion you can get the property back.
You can also claim lesion beyond moiety if you sold the property for less than I believe 2/3 of it's appraised value.
You can rescind the sale on the basis of fraud, duress, or error if applicable.
That will be $300 please.

Unless it was specifically written into your contract, probably not. Rescission typically only applies to a non purchase transaction involving your primary residence.
