65 cents From the vending machine at work. They just installed credit card swipes on them

I wish ours had them. Heck, I work in a Bank Headquarters. We should be working with our vendors to get this set up and running and do all of the CC processing for them.

Probably the cheapest outside of a vending machine would be around $2. Sometimes I walk down to this little gift shop in the bottom of our building when I don't have cash for the vending machine. A canned drink is .68 and a bag of chips or a candy bar is usually just under a dollar.

Just curious as to why you don't? You just find the debit card more convenient?

Yep. I think going digital is more efficient. No need to deal with carrying change around and re-using it. A set percentage of my embarrassingly low income already goes into savings.

eta: coins are dirty.

That's a good point. It's a good way to pass around the flu and cold.

If I can put it on my credit card, I do. I hate constantly having tons of change.
