Very likely Pitbulls will be excluded from insurance coverage. Homeowner gets what he deserves for owning one/

Did you not think to ask this of your attorney when you “talked” or did you just call one of those injury places. Should be very simple to find out what their homeowners policy will cover but if it is this significant plus the trauma of being “attacked” you should get a very nice chunk of they do what they can. Does the owner of the dog have any assets as you can tell?

The insurance company will just want to startle out of court. I say all medical bills plus 20,000. What is your occupation? Did you have any time off work? Is there any lasting problems even after medical care?
Does your wife smell like bologna? That could be a problem also. Is this person a friend? Why were you on their property?

I also have my secretary tell clients to ask their case-specific questions on a public message board if I don’t return their call by the next business day.

I like how you framed it as "my attorney is suing"...you are the one suing your neighbor

Why don’t you ask your attorney.
