INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 27 April 2024
On 18 April 2024, the Mediazona website reported that 116 Russian military personnel were convicted of murder in 2023. This is nearly 900% higher than the previous year. This compares to 13 convictions in 2022 and 11 in 2021.

On 8 April 2024, the New York Times, citing Olga Romanova, head of Russia Behind Bars, found that 15,000 pardoned prisoners had returned to Russia. Russian media outlet Vertska reported that former convicts were prosecuted against in 190 criminal cases, including 20 murder or attempted murder cases in 2023. On 24 April 2024, it was reported that an ex-Wagner prisoner was sentenced by the Kirov court to 22 years for murdering and raping an elderly woman, following his discharge.

The high numbers of homicides by serving and veteran Russian soldiers are likely in part due to enduring war-related chronic poor mental health issues. These include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and battlefield desensitisation to violence. Alcoholism and drug use from low morale and boredom are likely contributing factors. Compounding this is the return into the general population of ex-convicts with a pre-existing propensity for criminality and extreme violence.

American suicide drones like the Switchblade cost $60k or more. Ukraine is using hobby drones and commercial drones costing hundreds or a few thousand and they are tank killers.

This is a drone light show with a swarm of hundreds of drones. The military potential is just beginning. Current cell phone processors are fully capable of image recognition, tracking and targeting.

As I responded earlier to mention of the strikes in Russia, the refinery hit exactly where it could be completely shutdown already had problems making gasoline without Western technical expertise which expect 2026 before capable again.

Putin is a product of the ruling class. Someone else, whoever the next person is, might be more or less effective, but they’ll be very similar when it comes to policies and world view.

His cabal of oligarchs at some point will become very unhappy with the harm Putin has done to business with his Ukraine adventure. We can at least hope that whoever comes next will be a peace and prosperity replacement. This presumes they don't stand too close to an open 6th floor window or get accidentally shot down in the private jet.

That's not going to change anything. Y'all want Dmitry Medvedev? He's far more irrational than Putin.

Not sure why American intelligence agencies released this last night

He was already a multi-millionaire from being an actor and film/tv producer before he ever ran for office.

There's no "blood money" in his real estate portfolio.

But keep up the lies.

Yep, that's why they should inherit a powerless country that can't harm anyone else.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

And I'm glad Ukraine thought of this cheap homemade solution before ISIS or somebody else, because we need to adapt our security to their existence RIGHT NOW!!!

I'd guess Iran is working on making Naval Drones and getting them shipped off to the Houthis.Taiwan certainly should be making them!!!

An optical recognition system attached to basically a 300 round prr minute chain gun firing 12ga shotgun shells loaded with TSS would be the solution. We already have all of that. Just a matter of cobbling it all together. That solution is in the tens of thousands of dollars. Not millions.

It's unclear, at this point, whether the UK has truly restarted the Storm Shadow production line, or whether these are older missiles getting refurbished.

Then put some version of that on top of tanks with some cope cages that actually work, and the equation changes again.

If we wanted peace, then we shouldn’t have pushed NATO expansion and funded subversive elements in Russia.

The last Russian civil war killed more than twenty million people. The chaos and bloodshed that would come if we were successful is not desirable.

We didn't "push" NATO expansion... those former Soviet states BEGGED to be admitted, because they hate/distrust Russia based on something called "history."

And what subversive elements did we fund in Russia? Pussy Riot?
