This is all a result of global warming and climate change . California is in a drought....
.

Sometimes I see people say things so stupid I wonder how they function.

Are you denying the fact that climate change exists?

For the dam failure enthusiasts, look up the Vajont dam disaster. A rock slide sent a wave over the top, killing 2,000:

What I find funny:

quote:

California Gov. Jerry Brown announced that he requested a presidential disaster declaration for the state

So now it's convenient to recognize federal law and procedures.

I'm thinking of Johnstown. The owner of the report wanted to be able to drive over the dam, so he order that it be lowered and flattened to accommodate a road. It failed at the very next heavy rain storm.

Our planet, weather patterns, ocean currents etc. are fluid. They change.

Our land is subsiding (sinking) on most coastlines especially where we have built up lowlands to develop and changed flood plains and drainage. Most of what people call "climate change" is a result of human intervention. Not climate change.

I hiked all over the sierras this summer. From Yosemite to Mt Whitney. All over Tahoe and it was dry as a bone and no snow. I rode in a boat acrosss Lake Thomas Edison (what was left because Los Angeles pulls off all the water) which was so low the boat rubbed the rocks

We do not have a climate change problem. We have a human problem. We are over populated and over developed. We are irrigating deserts to grow crops and play golf. Our population expansion and development is not sustainable. California complains of no water but there was never enough water there to sustain the agriculture and human population there and it continues to grow. So it's not climate change it's based on over population of areas never meant to sustain the number of people and use the amount of water that is available.

Our climate is variable and must be measured over 1000s of years.

No one denies that. It's warmer now than it was this morning and is getting colder with the sun setting. Idiot.

Since Cali wants to be independent I hope trump tells them to use state funds to fix it.

Maybe they need to reroute the money from protecting the illegals to fixing their dam.
