CBS on New Orleans monument removal

LINK

In our continuing series, American Voices, we take a look at the debate over Confederate monuments. It's a national issue playing out on the local level. New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu made headlines this year after removing Confederate statues in his city. Landrieu, also president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss why he decided to take action.

At this point, I really don't see why we should care what this asshat has to say.

Liberals like Mitch create "false narratives of history" everyday.

They should do a story on the crime and infrastructure of New Orleans. Monuments was the least of their problems.

While Mitch is campaigning to be the next Democrat nominee for president......

NOLA.com

Pretty graphic descriptions in the article.

This was one of 4 shootings reported in New Orleans overnight.

We were only beat physically.
How hard is that to get?

The ideals of not being subservient to the whims of a capricious state is our heritage and the statues pay homage to pure ideals.

Was slavery a stupid idea? Absolutely but it was a side, distracting false flag that the industrial revolution was quickly making a moot point of.

Remember remember the 5th of November. This is a statue of Guy Fawkes in East Riding of Yorkshire.

Let's come up with a list of statues, throw them on a ballet. Any statues that get voted for removal will be put in a newly commissioned civil war museum that is on par with the D-Day museum

10 years later, another shitty mayor will remove the museum while pandering to become POTUS and ignoring his city's skyrocketing murder rate and inoperable flood pumps.

Heard something interesting last night from a friend who knows the Landrieus..

She told me Mitch asked his dad Moon about taking the statues down before he did it, and the Old Man told him not to do it... After he did it supposedly Moon jumped his shite and told him to never go against his advice, and to never ask advice from him again....

Don't know the validity of it, but thought it was interesting...

Did you cheer for the English king in Braveheart?

By the way, Scotland built a fricking huge monument to their "traitor/rebel who lost"-
