I guess I missed where Tchop looks like Lakeview. There are a million things to bash NOLA for. The condition of Tchop isn't one of them. That's an actual fact for you.
How do you think he got to Tchoup? Most likely it involves driving on some roads that are beat to shite. Saying it isnt wise to drive an expensive low to the ground sports car in NOLA is accurate, not hating.

There's the exact quote you responded to, and pasted in your response. Where is Lakeview mentioned?

And a good road in NOLA is an average road in a lot of places. That includes Tchop.

Also, thanks for proving my point.

IF it's the 2015 black Hurucan that I'm thinking of, mostly likely he didn't.

It's actually pretty ridiculous, but OK. Plenty of people seem to do just fine driving exotic cars around here.

Is this is a serious question? I brought up Lakeview to say that Tchop isn't some bad road. I refuse to believe you couldn't get that on your own.

So I guess no one should be driving cars on average roads then? Did you have a point? It doesn't seem like you do.

You're saying Tchop is a good road in NOLA. I'm pointing out that "good" is a relative term here.

I dont understand you sometimes. My wife use to have a Mercedes and we had to be careful when driving around the city. She completely lost her front paneling one time driving uptown while it was raining. Low profile cars and this city are not a good mix.

No, I'm saying it's not like Lakeview, so bringing it up when saying NOLA roads suck is stupid.

I never used that term, so again, did you have a point?

Lakeview is not the only place that has bad roads. Tchoup runs throughout Uptown which has some roads that will eat your low profile car up.

That's quite an ego. I was simply letting the poster know to not bother having a rational conversation with you about anything NOLA. I've tried before and logic seems to be dismissed in favor of homerism in your mind. But "melting"? Nah, you're not even close to my radar of melt status.

For getting upset over the below comment.

Yeah. You should have seen that coming.

ETA: Like there is any debating that statement.

Would a reasonable person read that and infer from it that Tchop is a good road? If it's not something to "bash NOLA for", then it's fair to assume that it's condition is at least good, right?

How exactly do I get that out of "my wife lost her front paneling when it was raining?" Tell the whole story or don't.

Because I don't think every road in NOLA is like Lakeview? Spiffy.

I just dont get him.

It is a simple fact. In most cities you can drive 30-35 MPH without having to pay attention to the quality of the road. In Nola, if you are driving around Uptown or Lakeview and you are going 30, you better be paying attention to the road quality just as much as everything else.
