I lived in some apartments next to a lake in BR. Someones dogs got hold of a few of the duration is ~ 5 and killed them. The management company just left them there for days. So after a few days I threw them in a garbage bag and put them on the doorstep of the management company. Got my rent covered for that month because the owner opened their office the next morning. Got a written apology and everything.

Because after more than a couple days of phone calls, emails, complaints to management, obviously no one else will.
Tough choice: sit with thumbs up one's own arse, versus, get up off said arse and take care of the nuisance.
