School and district scores are out. More info available on the Louisiana Believes Website. LINK

Special congrats are in order for the St. Helena district, for scoring a 47, the only district in LA to get an F.

D's go to Madison Parish, City of Bougalusa, Baton Rouge RSD schools, City of Baker, and Morehouse Parish.

On the other end, the elitists of Zachary are once again on top with 95.9, Ascension is 4th with 92.3, and Central with a 90.4, all A's.

West Feliciana has a 90.2 and East Feliciana has a 70.6.

Ouch.

Still no word on all the failing voucher schools.

Raise taxes and send more money to those failing schools. That fixes the problem, right?

Back to Back to Back... how many times?

If it's 5 times... maybe they can get Booker T image on their shirt.

Have to love the scoring system where a 90 out of possible 150 (60%) gets you an A or 70 out of 150 (47%) gets you a C

I wonder how many Private/Catholic Schools would score below 120? My guess is I could count on one hand.

I would venture to say all that money from lottery, casino's etc that was promised to help education has not done based on alot of the scores seen Whats next for La. government to charge citizens more to help improve education? unfortunetly seems like the population is getting smaller and smaller every year to raise taxes on.

There are exceptions, but most private school curriculum is ridiculously easy. You're paying for homogeneity and grades.

Yeah, but they should automatically lose 10 points because Cynthia Perkins taught in the district.
