This happened in front of my parent's house. Sad situation.

What are you reading?
All I've heard on the news is that one of the helo crew members was from Pineville and another was a Staff Sergeant from Michigan. The two Marines I've heard identified were from Wisconsin and Maryland, I believe.

It is with much sadness to announce the death of U.S. Marine Adam Koczrowski, from Denham Springs, La., stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC. Adam leaves behind two beautiful young children Kenzie and Tucker, and his wife Brittany. Will you please join me in prayer for my friend Melanie, her family, and the United States Marine Corp community. May The Lord welcome Adam home with open arms, and comfort his family and friends. A Marine is never gone for good, they just relocate to watch over their loved ones!

Though I hadn't talked to one of the guys that has passed away in this tragic accident in a few years...this has really hurt. I grew up playing ball with him , my dad coached us etc etc. I can't fathom what these family's are going through....to our men and women who serve this country I salute you.

My apologies if I offended your delicate sensibilities.
I forgot the army isn't held to the same standards as the Marine Corps.
Carry on, shitbag!

Aww it's ok if you're insecure.

I find it odd that there's a lot of radio silence on Facebook about this. I knew one of the guys. RIP.

We're not insecure, we're jealous we can't wear our uniforms in the airport and load up first.

It's like GeauxxxTigers23 said...
We wish we could be lazy and just wear our utility uniforms wherever we please.

Marine Times does not have his name listed as one of the seven.
There was another accident involving an aircraft somewhere else where one Marine was killed. A plane struck a vehicle, maybe he was the one involved in that accident?

That accident took place on Wednesday at MCAS Yuma and involved two civilians in a T-59 Hawk. The Marine was in a vehicle on or near a runway, supervising some construction work.

Do we have names for the LANG guys yet? I only see Marines listed so far...
Posted on 3/15/15 at 5:40 pm to Rick Rickles
They haven't been officially released yet. I'm not exactly sure why.
The fuselage/cockpit was recovered yesterday. Presumably, the two pilots were still in the wreckage. I'd guess the names of all four of the crew will be released soon.

Does anyone know if a NG member with the initials of B.M. was involved? He is from the Covington area and haven't gotten any response from him since the accident. Haven't talked to him in a while leading up to the crash though so may not be related. He was at one point in the past involved as a black hawk crewmember but I'm not certain of his capacity or if he is even still active. Just know he was based out of Hammond.
Just would love to hear that he is not involved. Thanks y'all and prayers to those lost.

Thanks. That's really reassuring. Still so horrible for those involved.

Died in a car accident the same day. I know his mother... sad situation. A parent should never have to bury their child.
