I remember that well. Finally started setting my alarm for 2:50am so I could put on warm clothes because they always pulled it at 3. It was cold as frick outside.

It's an office building now. They have an elevator and central air.
Kirby Smith was kind of a zoo, but when I moved into McVoy (which is also being demolished), we used to walk to the Kirby Smith dining hall sometimes.
The Kirby Smith dining hall used to be better than the one that used to be near Highland Hall. I think there is a parking deck where that one used to be. The LaVille residence hall and the dining hall was being renovated when I was there.

Lived in its shadow in 1999. Pentagon resident here. Stayed in Beauregard. At the time it was the only pentagon dorm with A/C.
Fun times. Not sure how fun dorm life at LSU is anymore.

Damn, that kinda stings. There where we would stay for football camp.
Its also where I witnessed a 300lb offensive lineman from Prentiss High School make a rap video one night called "Posted up a Kirby Smiff".

10th floor 1999. I missed a massive number of classes bc the elevators were out. Super convenient excuse at least.

Was supposed to dorm there in '95. Walked in, walked right back out and luckily got a room at Power Hall. That place was a shite hole but fun to party at!
