Kid Rock was from the suburbs who was raised nothing like how he claimed in some of his earlier music. He has always been a phony. Well, he is a pretty good musician, he just had trouble deciding what he wanted to be.
This is his son he had with a black woman, not that it matters at all, but his best album was Cocky. The one he had a song with Sheryl Crow.. And another song with Snoop. With that album I thought he kind of found himself. He was a little bit of rock, country and hip hop and it seemed to work, but then I guess it wasn't a style he could continue to create.

Gotta admit... I am kind of let down that Kid Rock has not released a statement about this as of yet. Either Denying this or claiming it to be true...
With his silence I am beginning to lean more to thinking this was true and he just got caught being a hypocrite.
