If this proves anything it's that my kids are assholes

I'll give it to my girls, they are good kids. My oldest daughter got a friend of hers several pairs of some name brand shoes after other members of the cheer squad made fun of her knock offs. She also threatened to whip some arse if anybody said shite else. And they both have asked the past several years for us to donate to make a wish and St.Jude's instead of Christmas gifts. That's become a tradition. I've taught them both to be intolerant of bullies and to be considerate to those less fortunate. Kids can't help their situation and you don't always know the whole story. I flipped my shite at the school a few years ago when I found out kids where being turned away at lunch for bills their parents owed. I was that kid too. My parents always paid it but occasionally it was late. And I was in the free lunch program. We had to go through a whole separate line so everyone knew who we were. If I ever hear of or see shite like that happening around here, there is hell to pay. Even 30-35 years later it makes my blood fricking boil.

I know this is just an example of a simple act of kindness but with what has been covered on national news networks these past few days, stories like this mean a lot. Yes, I agree with other posters, kids are shitheads for bullying others kids for something like what kind of clothes they have. Kudos to the parents.

This is great. I always felt bad for the kids who got made fun of for their shoes. Kids are such shite heads.

It was Doc Martens for us when I was that age.
