Where can I get it? I need it for a heater. Thanks

Home Depot has it in gallon and five gallon cans.

most kerosene heaters run diesel fuel just fine.

true but it smells a little more.
on both you can add in scents, if the heater is in a shop or garage.
(assuming not using a kerosene heater in your house)

Planning on using it inside. IS that not a good idea? My breaker keeps tripping so a plug in won't work.

it isn't that bad, but it smells. It can be a little smokey at start-up and you will want to crack a few windows for ventilation.
I only use my kerosene heaters in my garage or outside at parties. I prefer electric inside.
You can use kerosene inside though and I have. But make sure you have ventilation.

This would be a bad idea. Even the best burners can have incomplete combustion and you could have carbon monoxide issues. Get a CO detector before you do this.

Go to your nearest airport, scale the fence....and see what happens.
Obviously kidding. HD or Lowes or any mom and pop hardware.

Bought a kerosene heater from Home Depot, for inside. Bought a gallon of kerosene alternative that doesn't have any smell.
The directions with the heater say that no window cracking is necessary if you live in a regular house; i.e., one that has regular ventilation and isn't not sealed like in some apartments.

Salathe Oil in harvey sells kerosene in 5 gallon pales, $5.35 a gallon. That's half the price of Home Depot.

Thats still crazy for Kerosene. I think Jet A is cheaper. lol
(almost the same thing)
(but like you said, cheaper than HD)
