From tracks that are open to public and or the best green belts that are easily accessible. I know about Terry Hershey park. My neighborhood is great. But old oak trees jacked up some sidewalks and our neighborhood was built pre green belt days.

I know Katy has running clubs and such. They even have a group that meets at World of Beer after. Though that seems counter productive.

Really just starting so don't need to know about the miles of open road out west of Grand Parkway toward Sealy.

ETA I already know about memorial park. Too far to drive.

There's a lot of paths running the drainage ditches in the green trails neighborhood off Kingsland.

There's some parks around the neighborhood that you can park at so you're not in front of somebody's house.

Memorial Park trails are worth the drive.

I'm not talking about the main jogging loop with the mouth breathers - turn south on picnic lane and walk behind softball fields.

I do a run group in Houma that meets at the bar after...the bar gives us 2-for-1 draft for participating.
It's a day I look forward to, you meet new people who are into the same things that you are (running and beer).
Counter productive? Sort-of. But that's my slack day. I put in some realy run workouts on other days of the week.

I am excellent at dodging the joggers. The trails are everywhere. When I am on a beer run on the golf cart there are a lot of nice fit ladies running.
