What a relief that is over. Divorces are nasty, frustrating, ugly, and money draining. Then when you get through all that you wait, and wait, and then you wait some more.

Should have invested in cars, boats, and beach houses.

How the hell can something so easy to get into be so damn hard to get out of?

You're supposed to only do it once.

Divorces are like Pringles, you can't stop at one.

They have about as good of a return rate as your marriage did.

I'm waiting on a stipulated judgement myself. Should be any day now.

Fair enough. Just shite timing with the 22 page divorce paper thread then.

Isnt there a mandatory 1-year waiting period?

Yea I actually posted in the first few pages of that thread about my experience. Then today I get the email from my lawyer. "Congrats on the Divorce!"

No it took that long to negotiate with the greedy (and thankfully not very smart) woman. She hired a high price Aspen lawyer hoping to clean me out. I stayed one step ahead of them throughout and they had to settle for way less after a long battle.
