Yes, it would bring a douche crowd into a chilled out bar scene. Probably gonna have to start having bouncers at the other bars if they do open one up

A bartender told me Edwin Edwards Jr bought it with another person. No idea if she knows what she's talking about. She did say they are doing some upgrades.
Supposed to be under new ownership on August 1st.
Wonder if Hillar is still gonna drink there every night now that his buddy Pat is out.

I've always had a much bigger problem with mystery charges on tabs than finding the drinks noticeably high priced at Ivars. The tab thing does piss me off.
I always see duvics offered as a much better alternative in these threads but I find their bar service to be egregiously slow. I realize they make more specialty cocktails than anyone else in that area, but I find it to be really bad.

While Duvics does have a few randomly good looking girls walking in there, the fact that there is always one or two homeless guys there and that the lights don't work keeps me out of there for the most part
