frick PC bullshite. I call my customers honey, sweety, hun, and none of them care at all. Literally never had a single one even look at me cross for saying it. Will not work in one of these corporate america shite holes precisely for shite like this or similar. I will not conform to what the libtard fricksticks in this country have decided is appropriate and inappropriate just because they think they can.

Again, if you read this thread I said. I DO NOT USE THESE TERMS.

So why bring them into the conversation?

Maybe I missed your point but the fact that they are "cool and laid back" doesn't say much. And it doesn't sound like your office is representative of most corporate offices if it's just the three of you and you are tight knit.

By comparison, I work in an office with about 100 people in it and many of them I only know names and what team they are on. That's it. It's just not an environment where you walk around calling people whatever.

I'm not riled up.

Being bored at work, I'm playing devils advocate here.

Yes but mine would be backed up by any HR department.

My old boss is a very smart guy. Once of his best moments was after we fired a black guy in a wheelchair. "What do I need an HR department for? I've got lawyers." He called all The Skirts, "baby." They just giggled and tittered and ate that shite up.

One thing I have learned about situations like this in the office is that you can never assume that people will understand Southern charm. One girl told me she gets offended when men open the door for her. WTF?? She is single and I can definitely understand why...high maintenance count.
