We lost everything in the flood but I don't work as a low wage unskilled laborer therefor our family is unworthy.

I hope the FEMA assistance isn't the same way. If so then we may be better off if I get fired from my job.

There are income limits, just like regular SNAP.

And those people get the money automatically... regardless of whether they had any flood damage or not.

The best we can hope for at this point is that all those worthless frickers buy more sugary snacks with that extra money and push themselves closer to a heart disease related death.

In one of the threads yesterday you made sure to let everyone know you make $120k a year.

I'm not a baller. supporting a family of 5 on just over 6 figures is not as well to do as it sounds to some. All our income is going into flood recovery. Even my rental home in St George got flooded. On top of all that housing overpriced.

Ok? It's pretty normal for white collar families. Im old and have been in a technical career for decades so it's what is expected. It's not bragging. I feel poor sometimes.

That's exactly why we were denied. Too much money in the bank. It feels like you get penalized for saving or for working to have a career.
