My first visit since the Amazon acquisition. I used to go there for a specific item I really like that is otherwise hard to get, but now I may expand my options. Amazon said they were going to lower WF prices and they weren't kidding.

Apparently others took notice as well, it was absolutely jammed.

By lower prices, do you mean comparable to walmart or lower but atill expensive?

I like high quality at low prices as much as the next guy but I'm not sure I want to see Whole Foods overrun by obese people riding aisle scooters.

I mean lower enough to be like a higher-end but sanely priced store. Sane prices for good quality.

No worries. WF is still filled with hot women in yoga pants, at least at my location.

I never minded paying higher prices for groceries at Whole Foods if it meant a higher quality of clientele.

Guess I'll just be using Instacart once the Wal Mart crowd starts creeping in.

Maybe at the Whole Foods in Slidell.

Of course, logistically impossible to avoid retards in Slidell.

Wait...does Slidell even have a Whole Foods?

I pay more to avoid the Walmart culcha, just not at Whole Foods. I have a family of 4 so that would get too expensive for my taste.

Sorry that you can't afford to shop at Trader Joe's.

That was their business model, really. People went there because it was expensive.

People were buying status, and to a point moral virtue with their fair trade, organic, natural, eco-friendly, sustainable, humane products.

The BR location is overrun by the two types of BR hippies:

1. The LSU hippies of the 60s who left school, became everything they once professed to hate and moved to Bocage.

2. The millennial hipsters who grew up hearing about the glory days of the 60s and are desperately sorry they missed out on them.

And both classes of hippy are rude as frick.

I love WF, but some of their prices were redic. $14 for a small portion of frozen tuna? No thanks.
