Dude, in case you haven't noticed, we have the largest income equality of any major economy. We have massive wealth disparity, a massive incarceration rate, and massive wealth concentration at the top.
Basically huge and massive differences in opportunity, standards of living, education, material wealth, just about everything.
Not exactly socialism.

That is great and all and label him whatever. But fact remains we are about as far as it gets from a socialist nation. I would guess we are less socialist than any country in the EU.

Actually, it is the result of croney capitalism, and unregulated financial markets, ones that caused the crash in 08. You can't give rich people the power to direct our flow of income.

Dude, in case you haven't noticed, nearly half(and growing)of the population is sucking the government teat because they are too stupid and lazy to do anything else. That explains your income "equality" as you put it. The current administration and Democrat party celebrates and brags about the growing number of people dependent on food stamps and other government handouts. More idiot votes they can buy with said handouts. And if you pull your head out of your arse you will also notice that our healthcare system is headed for total government control and the borders won't be secured until people are trying to get OUT. Call it whatever you want but the US is a far cry from what it was in 1957.

Communism is an economic system at its core... and one of the core tenants of Communist economic theory is that all economic systems, regardless of what type it is, will over time evolve into a communist economic system.
