Join the Navy or Army?

If you had a son with a degree trying to join the Navy or Army, which branch would you prefer?

Depends on the jobs offered. Knowing what I now know, I would have joined the Navy instead. Either way, make sure your son speaks with several veterans of each service that won't just blow smoke up his arse like a recruiter.

Navy will have the best base locations(if you love living near the coast).


Former coworker of mine is in the Navy Reserves as a Navy nurse. She has to go spend a weekend each month right on the beach in San Diego....not too shabby.
