All dogs are smaller than me. Doesn't mean I have a moral high ground to not defend myself, regardless of the size.

You're funny, though.

Stop acting like the guy singled this dog out at the park, lined it up, and punted it. It was probably a reactionary thing, and if he had been bit before, he was probably even more skittish.

Sorry the dog died, but accept it was just an accident.

My sympathy is with the Jogger. I've had dogs attack me before when I was jogging.

Me too. And it has been both little and big dogs. Funny thing is the owner of the big dog apologized, the owner of the little dog got pissy with me because I didn't enjoy getting bit by her little dog that couldn't hurt a child.

The dog owner is 100% at fault here not the jogger.

I feel sorry for the dog, he should have kicked the owner.

Fair enough. I get it. There's just a popular attitude about dogs that I don't have much patience for.

Owners fault. Put your fricking dog on a leash. People think they can be irresponsible pet owners because "it's just a small dog". Well, this is the shite that happens.

Someone takes a tiny dog out without a leash, and this gives random joggers permission to kick them to death unprovoked?

I swear, some of you people are batshit loons.

Am I the only one who thinks the dog was just a big giant pussy? I mean you can't take one kick?

What if jogger was running in steel toe boots? Don't judge.

Any dog that can take a kick to the head from something 10 times it size doesn't deserve to live.

Nobody said this. Literally nobody said they would be cool with it if it were completely unprovoked.

Has anyone brought up the fact that both people say he kicked it and it just fell over dead? It doesn't sound like he kicked it hard at all. If a guy is jogging and punts the shite out of a 15 pound dog that shite is gonna fly. And the stupid bitch would be screaming "omg he kicked my dog 20 feet and killed it!"

And the dude tried to find a phone to call for help. I see nothing wrong with what he did, and I LOVE dogs.

Was attacked by a dog at age 5. It sucked.

Have broken up hog dogs and large wolf killers... Sustaining no injuries.

It's a grown arse man and a small dog. Wtf?

Would I let my wife do it? No.

Can any guy with a small amount of strength and confidence handle a normal dog? Yes.

Is breaking up a a fight between a sharplaninatz and a hog dog fun... It is not. But even then, grab the rear end of the aggressor, when he turns you give him a firm hit with the butt of your palm and he'll learn real quick who to mess with and who not.

Dogs are like Latins, all about the machismo

I love pugs, and I don't really know if they're capable of biting people, but I'm siding with the jogger.

It's the people with small dogs that are usually the biggest assholes.

Some crazy old jogger dude threatened to kick my dog, which was trying to lick him. Dude was an oddball but he would have regretted kicking my dog. I have zero issue with anyone protecting themselves from being bitten or attacking though.

A grown man scared of a pug is pathetic to begin with.

I know my dog is a licker so I do not walk her without a leash ever.

Anyone defending this thug piece of shite can go kindly frick themselves and eat dog shite.

This would be one of my worst fears with a small pup as they're so fragile and very vulnerable.

Pretty easy answer to get over that fear:

Wait for it

Wait for it

Keep it on a leash and don't let it chase people

Dude, It's a pug, one of the smallest dogs in the world and least violent and most friendliest and lovable breeds there is.

You're a special kind of chicken shite pussy if you get freaked out by a pug. Period.
