Oh because I can't stand it when people who can't properly train dogs get them?? Yeah that's a real unique mindset.
Yea, people who think the response to a person's roommate fricking up is to blame the dog owner instead of the roommate sound lame to be around.
It actually reminds me of the bitch arse roommates weak as frick defense of why she shouldn't feel bad for leaving a door open even though she had been repeatedly been told not to do it.

The dog running out of the door every time it is opened is a sign of poor training. My family had many dogs growing up, even some small yappy ones. They knew never to run out of the house when the door was opened, also knew not to run up to strangers. In fact, one of our small dogs did run up to a stranger when I was in 6th grade and the guy kicked it in the face right in front of me (mainly because he was an a-hole and ended up being imprisoned for extorting his parents later on, but that's another story). Even as a 6th grader I knew we fricked up for not properly restraining the dog. We trained the dog, and every other dog we had after that, not to fricking do that.

Well good for you and your family. Every dog can't be perfectly trained. I know she had sent the thing to obedience school at least twice and it never took when it came to not trying to follow the owner.
Regardless, it was still her roommates fault for letting the dog out in the first place. The fact that you are trying to argue otherwise is just dumb.
The roommate knew what would happen if she left the door open. She was told before she moved in that she had to make sure to close it. Instead she was lazy and sat her arse on the front porch smoking a cigarette and neglected to shut the door after dropping her books inside.
Its not like the door was open for half a second and it shot out. She had time to set her shite down inside, get a bottle of water from the fridge, and sit down to smoke. That makes it her fault the dog got out b/c she was being lazy and negligent.

Sounds like a lot of people are afraid of dogs in here. Surprised we don't read more about these incidents from you badasses.

Dog should have been on a leash. I don't care what kind of dog it is. If they are in public use a leash and this won't happen.

Yeah, anyone celebrating the pussy punter I don't think is allowed to tell anymore bullshite lies on how much of a badass they are.

I for one am not celebrating it
If the dog was on a leash would it still be alive?
Ponder that

i doubt the guy meant to kill the pug. A swift quick kick reaction could easily kill a pug if it hit it in the head

Is anyone actually saying the dog shouldn't have been on a leash? I don't think anyone is saying that.
Woman shouldn't have neglected to put her dog on a leash (legally and common sense).
Man shouldn't have kicked a small pug to death for approaching him (common sense and not being an over reactive pussy).

Not reading this entire thread, but am I missing something? He just kicked the dog, which is what I would do to any ankle biter that wants to front. What kind of kick are we talking about here? Morten Anderson, or "get out of the way"?
Not a gun or a knife. Kick the dog to the side. If this is what happened and the dog died, tough.

He's dead, it's senseless. Ponder that. Or, let's just have a puppy punting contest. Sounds like the right thing to do.

Especially if he's mid stride.

These guys have been making shite up the entire thread so I wouldn't hold my breath.

For real. I'm sure the guy didn't actually intend on killing the thing. No, they're not killers, but I had an ankle biter chew up my, wait for it, ankle pretty badly when I was a kid. You're damn right I'll kick one away if it comes at me.

Open game on dogs not on leashes. We must end this crisis now.
