Medical field. No beards generally. I know some doctors and nurses that have some facial hair, but not real beards, and I think the facial hair in general is frowned on. It's not very sanitary from hospital perspective

Had the exact opposite happen. Fresh out of school, I had a ton of interviews. Couldn't land a thing. Grades weren't amazing but not bad by any means. I had decent experience interning and a solid resume. Grew some facial hair and was offered a job on 2 of the next 3 interviews I went on. It probably had nothing to do with it but figured I'd throw that out there rather than making a spin off thread about how I think facial hair helped me land a job.

Most people won't care. But the ones that do will think twice before hiring you. Shaved mine. I'm in sales so I love money green more than I loved my facial hair.
