Job ideas for college student?

Im doing summer school and I need a job. I worked at the YMCA and Academy but Im sick of it. What job gets a good amount of money but also allows you to meet people /make good friends / find potential frick buddies? or just screw around and drive a golf cart? Any good places to be a waiter? I have always wanted to be a camp counselor in those sleep away camps, but its too late.

NOT TOO LATE. Most of the northeastern camps don't start until late June because that is when the NYC schools get out for summer. Camps are always looking for more counselors. I applied in June a couple of summers ago and was instantly hired.
Kick arse gig man. I taught tennis. One of the best summers I've had.

I worked at Camp Westmont in Pennsylvania for 3 years and before that I was a camper there since I was 8. It was pretty amazing.
But that would mean not taking classes. They go from last week of june to first week of august.

Waiter or bartender at a country club pool. Depending on the club, the latter guarantees tips (included in dues), you can usually booze on the job (make a little too much of a frozen drink), and your nights are free.

Waiting tables is good money but don't fall into that lifestyle or you'll never finish school.
