He is mildly amusing now. He was funnier on The Man Show. He was offered big bucks and grew a social conscience overnight.

I wonder if crying about the lion is the next step in evolution for his public persona.

I could see that. I'm against late term abortion.

You know, where they have enough body parts to sell.

There are way too many options for people to end a pregnancy before it gets to that point.

What in the actual frick?

I don't understand how a human could put a lion's life equal to/above that of a human.

Yeah, I didn't really consider that they would need to come from late terms. I'm solidly against late term abortions.

They don't actually believe what they are saying. They are getting swept up in the stupid emotional wave of Internet groupmind.

This guy is probably going to have to close his practice because of the bad pub.

While I feel bad about the people who work for him, I don't give a frick that this guy is going to lose his practice. The man is a poacher and has enough money to go on safaris pretty consistently. Should have planned better and not deliberately hunted down an animal with a tracker on it.

So the dentist is equal to Bin Laden for you?

I'm with you...I don't think going out and killing lions for funsies is cool. But why is Jimmy Kimmel, of all people, all bent out of shape over it? It's just...odd.

This argument always gets made when someone makes that stupid statement.

Of course I'd like the lion to eat Bin Laden, but I doubt the dentist's transgressions were on the same level. You know what I meant, don't be silly

We're not all calling for his death or writing Yelp reviews. Some of us just hope mildly unpleasant things happen to him.

Like what? He gets a bad bout of diarrhea?

Honestly, this whole movement of appearing as if you care about things which you honestly don't care about needs to be called out constantly until it ends.

It is fake.

None of you care about Cecil.

It feels good to be included in the groupmind though, right?

I'm admittedly bummed about Cecil. I mean, it doesn't change my life in any way, but it's a waste and kind of a shitty representation of America.

I think it says more about Africans and how they treat their homeland and the animals within it

No. I don't care about him personally. I care about poaching. How bout you give me a list of things you care about and I'll pick out the things I think are asinine?

eta- and posting in the third person is near the top of my list.

Well said.

As for the dentist, he is a dead man (not literally)walking. He will be broken professionally first and then all the things that follow that will find him.
