This guy is related to my wife, and I have heard some stories about Marcello and possible JFK connections.

It wasn't hard at all. I'd say anyone that can hit a squirrel with a 22 could have easy squeezed off 2 rounds.

But he "squeezed" off 3 rounds and the last hit it's mark, not the first one.

I've been there, and in person it isn't a hard shot at all. The distances involved are all a lot smaller than they look on TV.

I firmly believe Carlos Marcello was behind it and it would take hard evidence to convince me otherwise

Zapruder film (slow motion)

Head goes slightly forward, then goes back. It was Oswald who shot him. Now why he did it or who he was working with, if anyone at all, is anyone's guess.

Read Gerald Posner's "Case Closed" book.

Posner never addresses how the guy who couldn't kill General Edwin Walker on a much easier shot with the same weapon all of sudden became good enough with the weapon to hit Kennedy twice.

I enjoy this Annual Thread.I always say that there are lots of hunters that Post here that could make the shot.

But,imho,if reports are true that the FBI Forensic Team had to use metal shims to site the scope in then,I don't know about the single shooter.

Classic Coup d' etat. What has surprised me a little is that Robert Kennedy was present and probably in charge of JFK's body when the medical cover-up was done.

Maybe he thought it best for the Country to go along with the lone nut story.

Although RFK did say the 1st thing he would do as President,if elected in 1968,would be to open up the Investigation into JFK's Assassination.

He was of course killed before he had that chance.

I was 2 when JFK was killed.I was 7 when Bobby was killed. So I was aware of him when he was killed.

And then the son / nephew mysteriously crashes his plane.

Talk about bad luck as a family.

What is the best account of that day that can be found online? Like most everyone, this topic is incredibly fascinating to me.

He also shruggs off discussion of how a 19 year old with an 8th grade education and a supposed learning disability, who joined the Marines at 17 and was never officially given language training, could show up in Russia speaking Russian, defect, get a job, and meet his wife soon after, who remarked on meeting him that while she could tell he wasn't a native, his Russian was so good she assumed he was Latvian or similar - some place where kids are taught Russian as a second language starting in Kindergarten.

We're to believe he learned Russian from vinyl records. That's the official story. LOL

Why couldn't he have learned Russian, even if he had a specific learning disability which could have had little to do with the cognitive processes that involve language?

Because he was never officially involved in a Russian language school or training program. Russian is immensely difficult to learn as a native English speaker. The official story is that he taught himself from "learn to speak Russian" records that he listened to in his spare time. No one who has learned proficient spoken Russian thinks that it is possible to do that. We know from his school history that he was not a genius in any way, so that rules out his having had some sort of savant abilities.

Either a double Oswald went to Russia or the real Oswald was trained in Russian in a defense language program, which would in either case suggest that he was involved in an intelligence operation. If the former scenario is true, they were assembling a false narrative, if the latter, he was a false defector. We do know for a fact that the CIA ran a false defector program.
