I fly out of BR any chance I can and have for 50 years. I can leave my house an hour before my flight, park and board.

I am trying to fly out of BTR more but feel the quantity of flights limits my same day change options a bit more on DL

I fly out of BTR at least once a week. The flights are frequent enough to be convenient, the prices are reasonable, and parking/security is a breeze.
I'm Delta's bitch though.

My flight from BTR-ATL this week ran me $1k LOL. However the new frequent flyer program makes me inclined to accept it over the 500 from MSY

That's insane. I've never paid that much for an Atlanta flight out of BTR or MSY. Usually for me BTR is within $30-$50 of MSY, sometimes cheaper.

im not from BR so i know nothing about the funding that goes to the airport. how hard would it be to levy a one cent tax on the citizens of BR parish to get some more funding. In lafayette we just voted yes on a one cent tax until november to improve and expand ours.
