Where are you getting those numbers from? I see Wagoneers all over the place driven by moms. Seems to be a formidable Yukon XL alternative.

They are true. I’ve seen the articles OP is citing

I can’t believe Stellantis is still in business. They apparently have 7 models with a greater than 300 day supply sitting on lots

Grand Wagoneer
Ram 3500
Dodge Dart
Chrysler 300
Charger
Challenger
Cherokee

Ram seems to do ok. I think Challengers and Chargers have sort of died off other than with the tire burnout crowd.

Jeep Wranglers are obviously popular. Cherokees aren't as common as they used to be it seems. I don’t understand why they make anything else.

Owned 2 tacomas. Both went over 250k miles with zero issues. The one i still have is currently up to 265k. Dad has an 06 tundra with 414k.

I'd say it's the safest bet in the casino.

But go get a ford. It's your freedom to

It is probably a POS that will break down under 75000 miles, but I just ended up with a Dodge Durango R/T Hemi. It’s surprisingly a nice, comfortable ride and is fast as shite. It has a ton of acceleration at interstate speeds.

I drive about 7500 miles per year, so my vehicle would rust or fall apart from age before I ever put 250k on it.

Took an Uber in an F150 with the 2.7L that had clocked 335,000+ miles the other day. Seemed just fine.

had a rental Grand Wagoneer on a business trip not long ago. I have to say, they’re super nice. I really liked it. I mean, I didn’t like it enough to pay $100K for one. That would be stupid.

I agree. Every time I see one I think “what a nice looking car.” Then I remember that it’s $100,000+ and I laugh.

I swear, sometimes I think Stellantis is a European plot to destroy three American car brands.

But the truth of it is, it's probably just European stupidity.

I think the OP was referring to Grand Wagoneers, which are full sized, not the mid sized Wagoneers. But they are still overpriced.

They’re both full size, but Jeep has done a pretty crappy job of differentiating the names of the models. The Wagoneer is the Tahoe equivalent, and the Grand Wagoneer competes with the Escalade/Navigator crowd. The Grand Cherokee is their midsize offering.

very nice vehicles...

i'd rather pay $100K for a GW than a Range Rover, as they are much more reliable vehicles....

Wagoneer starts about 60k. Grand Wagoneer gets over 100K.

Dropping the hemis for the Turbo 6’s has killed sales as much as anything.

These American brands thinking they are luxury cars LOL
Even the imports have their own separate luxury brand names (Lexus, Genesis)

Stellantis has really stuck themselves in a corner with jacking up Jeep and Ram prices. Europeans doing stupid European shite.

Idk .. have you seen their stock price increase lately and dividend yield…

Same here. Rented one for a vacation to the GC.

I think it's gotten so bad they've probably unloaded them to rental companies for cheap. I was in KC 2 weeks ago and the national lot at the airport had literally dozens of them to choose from.

Yeah and a seiko keeps better time than a Rolex but which one is worth more? At those price points reliability is maybe the 4th or 5th criteria considered
