I’m surprised by the BMW and Mercedes data. I’ve driven both a fair bit over the last year, 22 and 23 model years, and the Mercedes felt much better built. Their interiors were much higher quality too.

To say the Jeep Wagoneer is a bust is an understatement. Currently they sit on a 532 day supply of 2023 Wagoneers. They will be selling 2023 wagoneers well into 2025. I guess that 100k+ sticker price for a jeep product wasn't a good idea. I wouldn't buy one for half that price.

Anyone who did not know that a 6 figure sticker price on any Jeep was an idiotic idea is a moron.

I had a rental Grand Wagoneer on a business trip not long ago. I have to say, they’re super nice. I really liked it. I mean, I didn’t like it enough to pay $100K for one. That would be stupid.

But I did like it.

I wouldn't pay $100K for 4 of the damned things LOL. I seriously think Jeep executives thought they could charge anything and people would line up around the corner to buy it...and when it was being planned they were probably correct. The market has changed since then...

I think someone upthread mentioend that Jeep should have made the new Grand Wagoneer with woodgrain like the old classics, and i agree.. this morning i actually saw one with woodgrain on the back.. unfortunately i couldnt get a view of the sides to see if it had woodgrain as well, but i dont think it did.. i guess my question is- Did Jeep in fact make a new Grand Waggy with woodgrain, or did this person customize their $100k vehicle ?

No, thats some throwback edition that I saw an article about on C/D a while back. Costs even MORE if you can believe it, like 118k. Ridiculous

I’d buy one at $30k, maybe $35k.

$40k+ would be a pass.

At least they have large v8’s. Chrysler made, so not for the long haul.

I would. I think they are great looking vehicles. But the price is humorous.

The problem is Stellantis quality sucks and compared to the competitors it’s uglier than sin.

My wife previously had a Grand Cherokee, replaced with an Escalade, would not consider a Jeep product again, love the caddy.

They also have a ZF 8 speed tranny. That thing is great. My F150 had 3.5 ecoboost with a 10 speed. The Waggy with 5.7 hemi and ZF is much more driveable and smooth.

Funny because we have the new GCL and it’s doing better than any GM product we’ve owned. The Surburbans were nothing but problems.

Ram is building the nicest trucks on the road. I assume the wagoneer is on a ram chassis?

Subarus are every bit as reliable as Corollas and Camrys in my experience - we’ve owned 3 of each

That’s aftermarket. No woody option OEM.
