I have a 2012 and I love it. Rides a whole lot smoother than my 03 Grand Cherokee. Bought another because that one lasted me 185k miles with very little problems. No complaints with this one so far.

yeah I got my 2012 new for 27k. can't imagine the base model went up 13k in 2 years.

Yes? Am I not speaking english? Just google a jeep dealership. I just did and the 1st option I clicked had a basic brand new jeep grand cherokee for 32k

People like to hate on the styling of these, but they have really grown on me. Especially in Trail-Hawk trim.
The new Grand Cherokee is great, and it's got the reviews and sales numbers to back that opinion. Anyone trying to bash it by saying Chrysler is crap is stuck in 2001.
ETA: Despite comments in this thread vouching for '01 Grand Cherokees

Traded wife's Tahoe for grand Cherokee limited. She loves it and I love the better fuel mileage.

No they do. I'm just teasing you. I got an almost fully loaded Sahara Unlimited for a lil more than that. So if I would have looked at the GCs I would have wanted similar things in it and it would have put it out of my budget.

My budget was 30k and I wanted a wrangler unlimited first but the grand cherokees were super nice and I found a pretty good deal and went with it. Couldn't be any happier though.
