Jeep gladiators are a joke.

They have been for sale in Ohio for about a month and the cheapest one I have found is $53k (overland edition). In order to buy this 6 cylinder truck you have to be
1. O-T lounge rich
2. Choose between an overland or Rubicon ( the 2 most expensive)
3. Have to choose between only 4 colors
I have a Wrangler and was thinking about buying a gladiator, but they are overpriced and come in 4th place behind the Colorado, Ridgeline and Tacoma in recent tests.
And also, my wife's mini Cooper has more aggressive tires than a $53k overland edition

You are getting hosed. Plenty of loaded up ones are selling for under $50k.
Also, they have been on the market for about a month. Give them a few days to catch up with the demand.

Meanwhile Kia dealerships can't keep a telluride in stock. They are selling strait off the trucks when they pull in the lot.

I don’t like to judge how people spend their money, but I’m going to judge. I think anyone who spends that kind of money on a Jeep truck is an idiot.

I'm not a Jeep fanboy but I will say this. Go out and price taking a ladder frame of your choice and building it up similar to a Jeep Rubicon. Come up with that figure then imagine finding a warranty for it. Sure you can find a used Tacoma with however many thousand miles, or whatever for $15 grand. If you like a traditional 4x4 setup, new and with lockers and solid axles and will run 34 plus inch tires stock it won't be found for $25k.

Keep the solid axles, titan swap it instead.
ETA: the downvoters are those who don't realize the xterra is more than just a lesbian car, it's an astounding offroader.
