Jameson vs Jamison

My wife and I are naming our third kid and we have landed on Jamison/Jameson. She wants it spelled one way and I think the other way. What does the OT say?
Also, if you don't like the name, that is awesome. Name your kid whatever you want and I will name mine whatever I want.

Is this child to be named after a relative named Jameson/Jamison? Is it a family name? Do you have a particular affinity for porn stars or Irish whiskey? Or are you just a typical white person who Gives their kid a name because they think it sounds cool?
