Not sure exactly what is retarded

He was shot by Hinckley, obviously it was determined if he was not shot he wouldn't have died in the manner he did

There is no SOL on murder

This could mean something.
It sure is a stretch to say a murder was 33 years in the making.
However, what would be considered an acceptable time?
Since he was paralyzed by a direct attempt on his life, then dies from such complications, then yes.

If I were a judge, id throw the case out. But also if I were a judge, I would have executed anyone who attempted assassination on the President.

So if I rear end someone and he breaks his nose; I am charged with following to close or failure to maintain. Plead guilty, pay $150 fine and move on.

30 years later the guy dies from sleep apnea because his septum is screwed up and never sought treatment.

They come back and charge me with vehicular homicide, which is hard to defend because I already admitted guilt to the charges previously.

Best case I hire a lawyer and have to fight off charges based on his medical history.

It is neither stupid nor unprecedented. If complications from the wound were in any way responsible for his death, it can be considered homicide.

As it should be.
That man... Regardless of political affiliation, was only going about his bidness... He was shot by a psychopath.
The blame for that mans great life being turned into living---living--- hell rests with the psycho that shot him.

Did they take a shot at the Prez? If so, then yes.
If they just freaked out and just ran up to the Prez trying to choke him, then maybe not.

There are more differences between the two scenarios than you realize.

So will the cause of death have anything to do with payments to the family?

Extremities, yes. The analogy isn't that far fetched.

What's stupid is the fact they didn't string him up for trying to kill the president.

It doesn't matter if you like the pres or not it is an attack on that position. The office of the president of the USA should be protected and an attack is an act of war.
