I'm going to need a source for all of these. I don't believe them.

This one is interesting. Never really thought about it but it's true.

It's also interesting to think on your own memories and how they change over time in your mind, and then think about how the Bible was written.

I think RadioLab had a good episode about memory. Very interesting how our mind deceives us.

Apparently the idea holds up in whatever theories they use it for. But yeah, it doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense in the real world.

Then you and your brother broke the chain of daughters.

Message boards have 'threads' because they are part of the web.
This is not true. The term 'thread' was used in computing long before the "web", including on bulletin board systems (the 'original' message boards, which preceded "the web"), and in programming. The term "world wide web" came from the concept of many interlinked computers, forming a web of connections.

This is also obviously not true, and is just plain dumb.

In order for your mother to have been born your maternal grandmother would have had to have a daughter. In order for your maternal grandmother to have been born then your great grandmother had to have a daughter. And so on and so forth. It's a chain of daughters that is necessary, or the mothers wouldn't exist.

Everyone has a mother...so if your mother has only sons and no daughters, she would break that chain of females.

Let's make it simple:

Everyone has a mother, right? Well, every woman alive today can be traced back to her mother, then her mother's mother, and on and on, until you go back far enough to arrive at "mitochondrial eve", who was the most recent common female ancestor of all women living today. If "mitochondrial eve" is the trunk of this female family tree, then there are now about 3.5billion branches. If a woman doesn't have any daughters, then her branch ends there and doesn't branch again.
