- OK is a sideways person.

- My mother had 3 sons. She is the first woman in an unbroken chain of women stringing back to mitochondrial Eve to not have a daughter.

- A single Minecraft world is as big as Neptune.

- There are more bacterial cells in the human body than human cells, which constitute anywhere from 2-9 pounds of your total weight.

- Given enough time, Hydrogen will begin to ponder its own existence.

- There's enough water in Lake Superior to cover all of North and South America with one foot of water.

- There are different sizes of infinity.

- The amount of energy the sun released in one minute is more than the amount of energy all humans have used for our entire history.

- The age of your body is less than the time in which you’ve been alive.

- A Blue Whale’s heart is the size of a VW Beetle, and you are small enough to swim through some of its arteries.

- When you remember a life event, you are remembering the last time you remembered it, not the actual event.

- There is a planet 33 light years away that is covered in burning ice.

- If you're in a group of 70 people or more, there is a 99.9% chance that two of them share the same birthday.

- Let’s say you have pillars that are perfectly set onto each graphable integer - (1,1), (0,1), (1,0) and so forth. Assume this goes on for infinity. If you have a gun that starts on (0,0) and can shoot at any angle, there is an angle that can be shot at that avoids all pillars going on for an infinite distance.

- The average sperm contains 37.5 MB of data. The average ejaculate contains 300 million sperm, which is 11.25 petabytes of information.

- You are now breathing manually.

- There are 12 dimensions. We only know of 4.

- Stick out your finger and pause time - now imagine a red dot at the tip of your finger. Unpause time and pause it again one second later. That red dot is now thousands of miles away.

- Message boards have 'threads' because they are part of the web.

- If the sun were to disappear right now, we would have no idea for 8.5 minutes.

- 1+2+3+4+5…and so on for infinite is equal to -1/12

- Bacteria in your ears grows 600 times faster when wearing headphones.

- Cleopatra lived closer in time to the first Moon landing than to the building of the Great Pyramid.

- There are more atoms in a glass of water than there are glasses of water in the ocean.

- Think of a color you’ve never seen before.

- If this sentence is true, then Santa Clause exists.

- If you could fold a piece of paper in half 42 times, it would reach the moon.

- If the Sun was the size of a white blood cell, then the size of the Milky Way Galaxy would be equivalent to the continental United States.

- You will never reach point B from point A as you must always get half-way there, and then half of the half, and half of that half, and so forth.

- If you could look out from the inside of a black hole, you would see the entire universe in a single picture - including all past and future events.

We had a thread about this quote once. SFP broke it down why it's not really a big deal.

I guess this is philosophical, but it's not realy that good of one because it takes someone who knows what this means to make sense of it.

Too flashy.

Birthday Problem

People tend to look at it as YOU will share a birthday with someone, instead of any two people.

Maybe Scruffy has been staring at his surgery book too long, but he has no idea what you are talking about here.

That is a pretty cool one.

Yea, straight up.
