It's happening: NY judge grants custody between polyamorous moms and dad

So what happens is, husband and wife can't have a kid. Mom becomes friends with a woman in their apartment building. They all get pretty close together and husband and friend end up having a kid. Well, they all decide they're in love and become a polyamorous family. That is, until the women decide they don't want the man around anymore. Husband and wife divorce. Child's mom and ex wife stay together as lesbos. Judge grants joint custody between Dad and the two moms.
These are truly end times.

So the dad and mom split custody? How is that any different than any other custody agreement? The fact that his ex is the baby mom's gf is irrelevant right? What am I missing.

Bub if my wife turns gay and leaves me for another woman...I'm certain that I can afford and find a good enough lawyer in this great state of LA (not NY liberals might be different) to get at very least majority custody of my daughter.

This doesn't really bother me.
Kid will grow up and probably pay taxes and not be a criminal. (And have a useless Water Painting degree and 100k in student debt)
It's the kids with 1 parent who doesn't give a frick or no parents and living in poverty we should worry about. This kid has 3 that are willing to fight in a court system to keep.

Lots of studies show that its not good. Kid only gets one side of the spectrum. Decision making ability is influenced negatively
