Blacks also commit significantly more crime per person, this leads to more chances of being killed by the cop. I seriously doubt cops are using any excuse they can to kill blacks, just for being black.
Blacks kill each other at a significantly higher rate than any other race. I suppose that is whiteys fault as well?

Stats are always interesting because there's a stat for seemingly everything and with the right statistical test, a statistician could make a weak argument look strong.
Now I'm not saying that that stat is weak or false but I do wonder if that is just raw data or if it's actually been adjusted and controlled for more specific measures (age, socioeconomic status, location, education, etc) that may give a more vibrant / in depth analysis.
Personally, I'm not surprised by the stat. I do think the media plays up some of the police violence on minorities, but they are also reporting cops and their poor administration of law and order. Cops actions are contributing to the headline news and are giving them stories.
