" Harrison Ford's plane crash, in which he was severely injured, wasn't his fault; it was a mechanical problem, investigators said Thursday.

A problem with a carburetor part led to engine failure and the crash of the vintage airplane piloted by Ford in Santa Monica, Calif., earlier this year, according to the National Transportation Safety Board."

Why do I hear Indiana Jones music when I see that plane?
I would have been so disappointed if I would have been at the crash and seen indy down for the count.

Even if not legally required for annual inspection, it seems stupid to have not even once in 17 years had the carb removed, cleaned, and its condition checked.
