Does this happen in other parts of the country with weather reports?
Meteorologist says " It is gonna be 93 degrees today, BUT it's gonna FEEL LIKE 105!"

In the summer, don't matter. Little wind and very little temperature variation. We do get the "it feels like" stuff in winter though when the Taku Winds can make 10 degrees feel like 40 below.

I've yet to have that kind of experience.
It's the opposite of a chinook wind and only occurs in Juneau. Cold wind blowing off the icefield comes down the slopes at hurricane force and can blow for days.

The local meteorologist here always mentions air temp immediately followed by dew point temp. He says looking at air temp only is an incomplete picture.
