Please tell me more about my "e-persona"? When did I say anything about going "Rambo" on them anything of that nature? All I said is that if faced with the situation where I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt I was moments from them killing me and there was literally nothing left that could stop or delay that death, then at that point the only thing I've got left is to at least die without giving them the satisfaction of reading their stupid manifesto. If I think reading it would save my life, I'm probably going to read it. But if I've reached a point where I know I'm about to die, I'm not reading it. What good would it do?

One thing worth noting is that most of us here have probably seen at least 1 of the beheading videos... so we know that once they put you in front of the camera with a guy standing next to you holding a machete that you're pretty much fricked. Perhaps some of the people in these videos think that they actually have a chance of being spared... but the people speaking out here know better.

If you know you're about to be killed then why not go out with a bang... try to ruin their propaganda video with some anti-Islam rhetoric.

It's ok because I'm not trying to be Billy Badass and pretend like I know for a fact that I'd not break. I have no idea how I'd act and neither does he. To suggest otherwise is naïve and disrespectful for anyone who's been through it, not to mention their families.

I don't even remember who it was who was saying they'd never break, I don't feel like looking back through it. Could be your buttbuddy, could be someone else. I just know that anyone who speaks in absolutes about how they'd handle the situation with honor and valor and would never give up on their faith or country probably has an undeveloped brain. Right, but from what I've read, don't they do these dry runs pretty often? Get you set up in front of the camera, have you read the anti-America letter and then not actually kill you. If you think they're just doing another one of those, why put the nail in your own coffin?

I didn't watch this video but people are saying he seemed sort of relaxed until he realized he was actually going to die.
