Aren't all the galleries open? That was why we went.

I meant like a set up where you aren't stuck in the same room with a shite ton of other people. Like having access to the entire gallery. My friend's mom is an artist so wherever she has her stuff we would have our own small bar and could go upstairs and such.

Lamest events in N.O. involve techno music gatherings of any kind and any of the sci-fi and comic gatherings, etc.

There are many fun events in New Orleans.

There are many lame ones too.

White Linen Night is one of the lame ones. :-)

I went to this party Saturday and had a damn good time. Those that are bashing obviously aren't doing it right.

It's ok, I can have fun doing it. But it's not a can't miss. I pretty much would use it as a pre game for the rest of the night

They've got that suit here in Houston too. Just wish it would go away.

FQF is still cool, just a little more crowded. The hipster mentality around here never gets old though.

Packed as hell if you're into walking around. I had fun lounging on picnic blankies listening to music and eating the nearby food, though.

Would have preferred to be able to hop around, but the setup we had was basically like being at a tailgate so it wasn't bad.

I don't get the hate for White Linen Night. This year was my third time going and I it was one of my best nights going out in a long time. Saw a lot of friends I don't see that often and met some cool new people.

You folks who can't have fun at events like this need to take that stick out of your arse and enjoy life.

It's hard to have fun surrounded by wall-to-wall matching sweaty cheeseballs. If you had fun at WLN good on you, but it means you're one of them. The only way WLN would be fun was if someone removed the stick from their arse and chased the attendees down Julia with it.

A lot of the events around here have gotten pretty crowded, but that's a good sign for the city as well. While I'm more likely to skip them now, I recognize the crowds are a symptom of economic recovery
