Reminds me of being in my classroom on 9/11 and our teacher explaining how New Orleans was CLEARLY the next target.

I'm seeing the same article from different cities in the U.S., each showing the same photo of a sea of refugees and insinuating that 10,000 refugees are showing up in their city.
10,000 will probably show up nationwide. That would be 200 per state. So B.R. will get... 30 maybe?

Well if true, FTR 30 is way more than the amount of terrorists that carried out the attacks in Paris today.
Just saying. If alarmed by this or their presence, I wouldn't try and justify and water it down to myself by saying it's ok since they'd be spread out throughout the country. Don't remember getting the memo that America would be taking in Syrian refugees prior.

BTW, it isn't that these folks necessarily intend to leach off of society but they have always heard that America is so incredibly rich that they honestly believe that everyone here just gets free stuff from the government and its no big deal. So they gladly accept it even if they plan on working hard as well. This is what bothers me with the classic "we are a country of immigrants" argument. When people came here in the 1800's they came to work and make something of themselves. Their wasn't such a thing as welfare. Now people come here to suck up my tax dollars and hang out without having to do anything. We don't need another 10,000 of those people. The ones we already have are breeding fast enough.

This has been known for awhile now. Just remember that these people, who you call refugees, are trying to get away from the very type of idiots that carried out last nights attacks in France.
I, for one, will welcome them with love and support.

But keep in mind that in order to be accepted into the refugee program, you have to pass multiple background checks. It is the most difficult way to get into the US legally.
Since 9/11 about 750,000 refugees have resettled here and there have been no problems with them.

Yes it's legit. Catholic Charities is sponsoring the refugees. They will be brought in to Laffy, NOLA, and BR.

They captured one... a Syrian "refugee" that had been recruited. So go ahead and welcome them with love, idiot.
