I have some great on how you can help your friend. Just follow these easy steps.
1. Unplug your toaster from your kitchen
2. Take the toaster to your bathroom
3. Draw a nice, hot bath
4. Plug your toaster into a bathroom outlet within arm's reach of the bathtub
5. Disrobe and enjoy a nice, hot bath
6. Press down on the toaster to turn it on
7. Drop the toaster in your bathtub with you inside
This will help your friend out tremendously.
