I took a sports law class in college with a GA teaching it. He wanted us to do a case study on a big legal case in sports (ie, Title IX), but was too vague in the parameters so I did mine on the OJ Murder Trial as a joke with the focus on OJ being innocent.

That man 100% murdered his wife and walked free because the prosecutors were a joke.

The prosecutors were a joke, failures really. Then the only black prosecutor didn't know how to relate to the jury and was hated by black America.

Also, the prosecution's failures was a big reason the jury was sequestered for 265 days. Can you imagine how pissed you would be?

Bottom line, the defense team did a great job of raising reasonable doubt. If you, as a jury member, have a reasonable doubt, you should 100% vote not guilty.

Even if one wants to believe the son did it, the son has no motive.
I mean it could have been known if he didn't like Nicole, I've never heard either way, but it would never had elevated enough to bring about a rageful killing.
This wasn't some random murder, this was done with extreme rage. This is undisputed.
The defense first deflection theory was their best: it was some type of murder done by some drug cartels to make some point. That could have been made believable to some. But even that in the end didn't hold water

Good post, but stupid is still gone' be stupid.

One of the major problems in this country today is that we pretend that foolish people have an equal opinion as intelligent, logical people.

The defense nickled and dimed everything the police did wrong. However there was so much evidence they didn’t think it would matter. The black jury was gonna acquit him no matter what.

I was 24 at the time and the constant coverage was ridiculous. Was glad it was over.

Once again the black community aligns behind a criminal. Being Rodney King back then. 30 years later it was Floyd. And the community has not improved a bit since.

Wait until episode 5. The old black female juror gives her answer to why she acquitted and had no shame doing so...

^this actually happened at the hospital where I was doing my residency at the time.

I remember it clearly.

I remember my mother talking about how everyone white at work was in shock and disbelief the rest of the day and everyone that was black was cheering and in great spirits. I'm simply stating facts, not any opinion. You can watch reaction videos from that day in places like NYC, and it fully corroborates that.

That’s exactly how I remember it. I have always worked in very ethnically diverse places.

OJ getting acquitted was their retribution for Rodney King

And Natasha Harlins and Eula Love, to name two. The jury wanted to win one for perceived “injustices” to the black community as a whole.

Rodney King was an injustice, accompanied with video of the beating by a handful of officers in broad daylight. There were several others, so yeah, I can see why those in the black community were looking for a reason to acquit.

But he 100% killed them, and it was obvious to everyone…with overwhelming evidence.

He also had a great legal team.

Don’t dispute that at all but it wasn’t just Rodney King, that was just the icing on the cake.

And I completely think he did it.
