My favorite is when people use melting glaciers to support their doomsday theories, when they've been melting outside of small oscillations since the last major ice age.

hat's fair, since huge climate shifts for regions predate humans.

Then what’s your point

Yes, our planet's climate changes. We just came out of a serious Ice Age about 11,000 years ago. One of my climate profs at LSU claims we are still in an Ice Age because it still snows each winter. As far as Mankind affecting the climate ,that is still unproven. Hey look Vesuvius erupted this past week, wonder how that will affect the Earth's climate ?

Climate change is real. It's also cyclical and has been since God created the earth.

There were once glaciers in Namibia.

What impact humans have on it is the debate.

Progs rebranding "Global Warming" into "Climate Change" was genius because now they can't be wrong.

I think humans contribute, but people like the OP are doomsday alarmists who go batshit crazy every time a temperature record is broken.

This is nothing some new taxes can’t fix.

The hottest state in the U.S. is freezing right now and the coldest state in the US had their warmest summer ever two years ago. Not likely coincidental.

I believe that the climate changes

Except for this small circle of land in Blaine, Missouri. It is always 67 degrees with a 40% chance of rain.

At first I thought your username was a reference to Alabama, but after reading some of your posts, I now realize it’s a reference to your constant state of menstruation.

The debate isn't whether or not climate change is real, the debate is whether or not the proposed solutions brought about by the left and climate change cult would actually do anything other than line pockets of the politically connected.

My problem is every single proposed "solution" to "tackle climate change" involves less liberty, less freedom, more taxes and more government.

In 1983, the Red River in Louisiana froze solid.

I'm sure that had to be related to climate change.

Texas is a republican controlled state and because they skirted regulations they weren't prepared for this weather at all. No regulations is as bad as too many regulations.

Which ones? Is that why people die in Chicago when it hits 100 degrees?

Climate change is another one of their great lies in order to tax the working class to socialism. Whomever realistically believes the elimination of domestic jobs to save the ozone layer while turning a blind eye to every other goods producing nation on earth so they we can purchase products from one of the aforementioned nation's and import them at our expense is a complete moron.

I for one could not give the tiniest of fricks what occurs here on earth 500-1,000 years from now. My concern at this time is being able to provide for my family and retire comfortably by 2041.
